Short and Sweet

Happy Friday People!

I had an AMAZING birthday! I had shrimp fetticini with bacon and it was heaven. My LAST pasta dish for a LONG time I enjoyed every bite! I tried to take a pic but my phone died when I tried boo!

It's My Birthday! Link ups and Vlogs!

Happy Thursday People! Last day of the week for this girl!

Today is my Birthday I love birthdays! I am 24 years young today! I feel like I was just 18! Time goes by so fast!

Anyways I have TWO vlogs, yes ladies you read that right, two as in plural!

My Very First Vlog! Link up and WIW

I can shoot out my personality for days on this here ol blog but this marks my actual being a living breathing talking human being lol! So hopefully I don't scare too many of you off!

Ok let's get real people. I just went on vacation for a week. And before that I did the advocare cleanse. I honestly have not worked out before I left. I ate anything I wanted and have still been doing so through now. Truth be told I am TERRIFIED of getting on the scale and seeing what the number is.

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I know that is no excuse but I want to enjoy my birthday week damnit! I feel guilty but not too guilty. I know I will get back on track! Starting April first it is on! The entire month of april is going to include:
1.) Doing the 30 day shred/ripped in 30 (haven't decided which one yet) with my girl Ashley
2.) Eating Strictly clean for the entire month
3.) Continuing my c25k (I only have 5 workouts left) then moving on to 5k-10k training
4.) fitting into a smokin hot dress that I have yet to purchase for a wedding I will be attending at the very end of April!

I hope I can achieve all of these goals and I will be ready come Monday!

I'm Baaaaack!

Hey Lovies!!!!!

I missed you  all SOOOO much!

I am so sorry for no post yesterday. After being gone for 10  days work was CRAAAZY! Plus trying to get back on a productive schedule is nearly impossible after being care free for over a week!

But now I am back! And it feels good to get back into the swing of things. So you lovies get an extra LONG post just so I can fit everything in? mmmkay? ok :)

I know you all are just DYING to hear about my vaca but first a few housekeeping things haha. First, I have convinced the boy to do a vlog link up for wednesday with the amazing Leigh Ann, Sarah, and Kassie !

 I cannot believe I am doing two vlogs in one week. And my first two ever! I'm kinda nervous lol. Now you will all get to see what I sound like, look like when I talk etc. Its like almost real life! Lol

And now for the long awaited vaca recap haha. It was GORGEOUS! Beautiful every single day. I loved it and it was over way too quickly. Sadly at some point we have to come back to the real world ugh. Who doesn't just wanna beach it up everyday am I right!?

Basically I had way too much fun. I layed in the sun every single day. We stayed at an inclusive result in Cancun so all of the food and alcohol was included. THe food could have been better I'm not gonna lie but hey free drinks all day I can't complain lol. It was my brothers senior high school trip so we went with a group of 36 of us total I think? Somethin like that .

They had an activity to do everynight like beach party, pool party, kareoke night etc. The fourth night we walked over to planet hollywood for some american food lol. And the last night we went to Senor Frogs which was amazing., If you have never gone you definitely should. THey had a water slide and everything. This was my third one I've gone too and it was really cool.

They also sold a lot of cool sterling silver jewelry on the beach for like $10. Nothing really too exciting happened. Basically it was a lot of sun, drinking, eating, pool time, ocean time and relaxing time. It was amazing. I didn't take a whole lot of pics, I'm sorry but a lot of the other people that went did so as they upload them to facebook I will be sharing more.

I officially start all of my goals on April 1st! I should start now but it's my birthday week and damnit this girl wants to keep the vaca enjoyment going!

1. If calories didn't count, I would eat... Mexican and Chinese every single day, with tons of buttered pop corn ice cream   
2. On my Prom night.... I had a blast with all of my friends. All of my friends and our boyfriends were friends so we all went to prom together, after prom (where you have food and games at the high school and events) and then afterwards went back to my friend's abbies house and her mom made us breakfast. We were good back then :)  
3. When I go to the store, I always buy... Hummus and some sort of cheese. I love me some cheese.   4. Family functions typically... Are a lot of fun with a touch of drama. Both of my parents sides live here so I see all of my immediate family pretty regularly. No family is complete without a touch of drama and bat shit craziness but I love them :)  
5. I think my blog readers... Are absolutely 100% amazing! I  feel so fortunate to have connected with each one of you that have reached out and formed connections with me! for those of you who haven't what are you waiting for ?!? :)  
6. I'd much rather be..... Sleeping and laying in my bed then going to work any day of the week.  
7. I have an obsession with.... the HBO show Girls. They just had their second season finale and I cannot WAIT for it to come back on! If you haven't checked it out you should do so! I LOVE it! And I'm also obssessed with froyo could eat it ALL of the time!  
8. My work friends.... Make it possible to get through each work day. If I didn't have them I would literally go crazy one day and probably get fired lol  
9. When I created my Facebook account....I was in high school and honestly had no idea what it was. I was still obssessed with myspace at the time when facebook was just a "college" thing haha  
10. My least favorite word is... Omg I have a lot of least favorite words! I don't know if this is too dirty for blog land but I HATE when my mom refers to condoms as rubbers like really? That word just makes it sound awful. She offers refers to these when talking about my teenage brother hahaa  
11. I really don't remember....  oh lawd! I really don't remember A LOT of things. It gets harder as the years go by faster and faster to remember details of every thing. That's why I try to take a lot of pictures :)
12. Justin Bieber.... is now just catching on to me. I never listed to his music really until I got his xmas cd last christmas. Now I love it. However what is happening with him lately???\

Cleanse End, Recipe, Goals and Vaca!

It's Friday It's Friday!

Last day before vacation! I may have celebrated the end of my cleanse on a high note lol
 
Mexican from my fav restaurant, cheese dip and a pop! I was in HEAVEN!

 
Fro yo from orange leaf with a few cookie dough bites mmm!
 
Speaking of fro yo I promised you guys a recipe and I really like this one for mint chocolate chip frozen yogurt! first you will need this..
 
Chobani Vanilla Chocolate Chunk flavor. I could only find the champions kind? I don't even really know the difference. But next you will also need green food coloring and mint extract
 
 
I put literally just a few drops in, its VERY Strong into the yogurt. Add two drops of green food coloring stir all together. The green food coloring is obviously optional but hey I want it to look right! After stirring put it in the freezer for a few hours and wha la! you got yourself mint chocolate chip frozen yogurt!

I didn't take a pic of the end result sorry I forgot! It's not as great as going and getting fro yo from a place but for a sweet tooth I really enjoyed it and def better for you than ice cream!

So what's next? Well, I am off to enjoy a week of Mexican Sun in Cancun. Drink and eat probably way too much but I will try my best to keep it in control. I do not want to undo everything I've just done which is why I've set some goals for myself when I return.

Goals Post Cleanse:
1.) Join Lex and KTJ Diet bet, perhaps a few others??
2.) Take measurements and do a complete 30 day ripped in 30 or 30 day shred and post updates and results
3.) Continue doing c25k (I only have 5 workouts left) and then start 5k-10k training
4.) start up again and continue to eat clean
5.) Push myself everyday knowing that ORB is right around the corner and I have a wedding to go to at the end of April that I would LOVE to buy a way cute dress for :)

Well, that's all for now guys. Do you think my goals are obtainable? I'm off to get ready for vaca! Which includes packing, painting my nails and one last tanning trip!

Cleanse Results are here and NSV!

It's Thursday It's Thursday! Last day of the week for this girl and last work day for 10 DAYS! So freakin pumped!

Well, I made it! I did it! The end of the cleanse is here! Today I am going to reflect on the cleanse as a whole, what I learned and results obv.

As many of you know for the last 10 days I have been doing the Advocare cleanse. I would recommend this to ANYONE! It was gentle on the system, the pills and fiber drink were not horrible to get through and the benefits are a-may-zing! I have tons more energy I sleep through the whole night and I just feel so refreshed!

This cleanse not only gets rid of all the nastiness in your system it also teaches you the right foods to eat and when. Which is exactly why I did this. I want to lose weight yes but I don't want a quick fix either. This is a long haul journey and I want to make LIFESTYLE changes.

I would love to do the entire advocare challenge here maybe this summer? I am interested to see what the whole challenge could do for my body and the changes I am wanting to see.

Also, as many of you know I haven't worked out since Friday. I am feeling a little better today thank the lawd but I am also curious to see what kind of results I would have gotten if I had worked out everyday.

So, as you may have guessed I did NOT make my vaca goal weight. As of today I am 4.3lbs away. But you know what? I'll take it! I worked as hard as I could and I know once I come back from vaca it is on!

FYI, I have been a horrible blogger this week and haven't taken or included any pics. I know I suck. But since I am feeling better I promise to be  better from here on out!

Speaking of pics, I have pics of the scale to show my results but not hitting my goal "vaca weight" I am just not ready to share that number. And as long as I maintain hopefully over vaca I will drop those 4lbs as soon as I get back so I can really get down to the nitty gritty for the last few lbs!

ANd now what you've all been waiting for! My total weight loss for the cleanse? 9.1 lbs!!!! I'll freakin take it! I am trying not get down on myself not being able to work out.I know these results are amazeballs but I can't help but think what it would have been like if I had worked out! Oh well no use dwelling on the past! Only to push forward! Right!?!

Now that the cleanse is over it's time for real life and real food. I REALLY wnated to get french toast, pancakes, syrup for breakfast but did I? nope! I don't want to undo everything I have just done. Instead I had eggs and afew slices of REAL bacon. It was delicious!

However, tonight I'm seeing mexican, cheese dip and some froyo in my bellly. I gots too. Not overboard. Just moderation :)

And just because no post would be complete without a link up! My NSV was hard to think of this week becasue this week really was all about the scale.

I would say my biggest NSV this week was just learning to eat the right foods and when. That it really is mind over matter. Don't give up what you really want for something you want right now. I proved to myself the last 10 days how mentally strong I am and that now more than ever I KNOW I can do this. I know I can get to my goal weight! Sooner or later its gonna happen! ORB!

And just cuz I feel really bad about no pics I'm throwing one of me and the boy out for his bday last Friday which really has no signifcance to this post what so ever. Whatevs.

Last Day and WIW

It's Wednesday! 3 days till I leave! I cannot believe it's already here almost! I've pretty much become addicted to blogging and I don't know how I'm going to live without you all for an entire week :(

We made it! Today is the LAST day of the cleanse! I am STILL sick! My eating has been almost perfect but I have been feeling down. I haven't worked out since Friday basically because I can't stop hacking, sneezing, wiping my nose etc and I feel kind of cheated out of the cleanse.I feel like I would have be getting better results if I was able to work out. That being said I cannot wait to share the results with you all tomorrow!

I obviously did not weigh myself today because that is saved for tomorrow :)

At this point I know I am not going to make my goal vaca weight. I'll guessing it will be somehwere between 3-4lbs from that number but that is ok I KNOW I can hit it when I get back from vaca. And when that time comes I'll be confident in sharing my number for the first time knowing that I am so close to my "actual" goal weight.

They don't call this a journey for nothing right? there are many ups and many downs and sometimes life happens. I plan on continuing to eat clean after vacation as I have seen great results so far and I would really enjoy doing the advocare 24 day challenge at some point as well.

First off let's do a recap of the weekend. I was doing GREAT with the cleanse until Saturday morning when BAM! I've been hit with the sick bug :( I haven't worked out since Friday. My eating is still good but being sick I haven't been able to move the past few days :(

I was even off work yesterday which is why I didn't get around to even blogging which SUCKED. I still feel like Ass but today I am back at work and back to blogging :)

First real piece of jewelry you owned-THe first real piece of jewelry I owned was a diamond necklace that my dad bought me. I still have it although I don't wear it anymore..kinda went out of style with the bright yellow gold and all...
First time staying home alone- I started staying home alone after school when I was in 4th grade. That fall I got locked out and had to sit in the garage and did my homework in there and waited for my parents to get home ( too bad this was before cell phone times geeze)

Update on day 4 of the cleanse:

As some of you may know I went out to eat last night and I was such a good girl! Ok I had two chips with spinach and artichoke dip but I passed on bread and pop!

I am going to try to keep eating as I have planned all week. The weekend is the true test to see if I can do this! I have been weighing myself everyday and it is some GOOD stuff so far! Can't wait to share it with you all!

1. People always tell me.... I seem very quiet and reserved...until you get to know me..then all of that is OUT of the window
2. In the movie based on my life... Sarah Jessica Parker would play me..because that is as realistic as it gets am I right?
3. Typically, I end up regretting....Going out and drinking shots like water waking up and feeling shit afterwards and remind myself I'm not in college anymore
4. I always ask to leave off the....Tomatoes! Gross! love me some ketchup HATE tomatoes
5. Kim and Kanye really...need to have their kid on the show when it's born. I. cannot. stop.watching. them.
6. My Parents always reminded me...I could be anything I wanted to be.
7. Every single day I.....do the EXACT same routine when I get up in the morning. If I do something out of order and something bad happens that day I'll blame it on the switcharoo
8. This one time in College..me and my bestie trusted these guys we barely knew to take us to a party. The only problem was that there were too many people so we had to ride in the trunk. with the bass. for like 30 minutes in total darkness. Luckily I was a little tipsy otherwise I might have died from paranoia.
9. My grossest habit is...That I pick at everything I eat like a bird. I leave little crumbs with everything I touch
10. My latest white lie was...that I wasn't going to cheat AT ALL on this cleanse...oops
11. I know all the words to... every Britney, Xtina, Backstreet boys and NSYNC albums ever!
12. When I grow up... I'm never growing up. I will always be 18 in the back of my mind.
13. Sexy time is... Getting better the smaller I get and the more confident I become
14. I will never, ever...be able to do an entire shot in a shot glass. Put the shot in a glass I can take it straight back. In a shot glass I have to sip it because I just CAN'T take it all back
15. I think it's hilarious... That my dog can literally hear from another room which commerical is on and come spriniting in just to bark at it ( her favorite is the guy jumping on the trampoline with the phone not sure what the commerical is for. the tv isnt even up loud and she cant even see it and will sprint in just to bark)

Cleanse Day 4 and NSV

It's Thursday! Well, my Friday :)

Recap on Day 3 of this cleanse: I ate everything I said I was going to yesterday except for the apple in the afternoon. I am still getting a slight headache in the afternoon and am wanting to sleep a lot but other than that its not so bad.

Today is Day 4 of not one single sip of Pop! I don't think this has ever happened. I mean ever. In my entire life that I can remember (not when I was a kid obv). Today is also the first day  Idon't have to drink the fiber drink and I am NOT complaining. Not as bad as I thought but def not good . Not something I look forward to chugging. ugh.

Today's Plan of Eating:
8:20AM: Am pribiotic pills
9:00AM: grapes
10:00AM: Tbs natual pb (hey I like to lick it off the spoon don't judge haha)
11:00AM: Oatmeal with cinnamon
1:00PM: Chicken, shrimp and aspargaus (had to use what I had left)
4:00PM Apple
7:00PM- date night dinner out
10:00PM- PM cleanse pills

Yes you read that right this is the first night I will be eating OUT on the cleanse. I am scared but I know I can do it. I know the rules. I'm used to the rules. and I feel FREAKIN FAN FING TASTIC! I got this! Doesn't mean I don't want to have 10 diet cokes and shrimp alfredo but you know what? I have will power and it will all be worth it!

I feel like most of my victories this week were NSV considering I didn't really particpate in WIW this week due to the cleanse.

First up was Monday. Me and the Boy went to see this
It was such a cute movie. I loved it. But walking in to that theatre and smelling that popcorn sucked balls. Big time! But I prevailed and I did not get any! (still dreaming about it though)

Next up was this yesterday at work


Like really!? It smelled SO good and I wanted some greasy cheesy goodness like no ones business! BUT again I did not have any am so proud of myself!

Last but not least Tuesday was my wk5 day 3 c25k which is the first 20 minute straight run. I wanted to quit at 10. I really wanted to quit at 15 I told myself I could just walk a few minutes. But then I remembered how bad I wanted my ultimate goal. I told myself that every struggle to push through would be worth it, it would be over soon. And I DID it. I never thought I could run 20 minutes straight. Sure it wasn't fast but it was consistent!

I am feeling amazing on this cleanse now! I cannot wait for my and everyone elses results next Thursday! The weekend is here and it will be hard to stay on top of it but I know I can do it!

WIW and Day 3

As many of you know I am now on Day 3 of the advocare cleanse. Honestly, yesterday was worse then the first day. I was actually hungry in the afternoon and had a killer headache from my pop and carb withdrawals.

However, I made it through! still strong on no POP! I followed my yesterday's eating plan to a T with NO cheating. Even though it's only been two days I am still really proud of myself.

Here is what today's eats looks like:
8:20AM-Fiber Drink and 8oz of water
9:00 AM Two over easy eggs but I only eat one yolk
11:00 AM oatmeal with cinnamon
1:00PM 5 oz grilled chicken with seasoned pepper and aspargus cooked with 1tsp of olive oil
3:00PM-Banana
5:00PM Apple
7:00PM- 5 oz of protein and a vegtable
I give myself two snacks of fruit in the afternoon just in case I get hungry If i do I'll eat both If I don't then I'll just eat one. Here are some pics of my recent eats white chilli and cajun shrimp with asparagus






I am weighing myself everyday cuz I'm OCD and so far so good. I will do a post on the results after it is done so I don't want to give anything away yet :) I also did c25k yesterday It was wk 5 day 3 with the 20 minute consistent run and I DID it! I was feeling tired after that so I skipped RI30 but I am hoping to do both tonight!
